The Carriage House Campus is a community devoted to Senior Living, encompassing Independent and Assisted living, Short-term rehabilitation and Long-term care. The Carriage House is a 165-bed Medicare/Medicaid-certified health and rehabilitation center.

Occupational Therapy
We provide supervision or assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitoring of resident activities to help to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
Rehabilitation
The Carriage House's Rehabilitation Program is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and it’s interaction with physical movement. 
Community
The Carriage House also provides complete skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to meet the post-hospital needs and long-term care needs of our patients and residents.

Resident of the Month
Helen Ramseyer
Helen was born the second child of Christina and Albert Reynolds in Bay City on July 12, 1922. In 1940, Helen graduated from Handy High School in Bay City. She survives two brothers, one sister, and her husband, Arthur.

After World War II, when Arthur Peglow returned home from war, he married Helen on April 20, 1946 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bay City. Together they built a fulfilling life with their two children, Robert and Susan.

Birthday Party Changes

We have decided to change things up a little bit for our residents’ monthly birthday celebrations.

Instead of holding a monthly birthday party, we will provide a mini celebration for each resident on their birthday complete with singing, an individual birthday cake, and a gift.

We will still be having the Resident of the Month parties.



Family Summer Fun Fair

Come one, come all! Bring your children, grandchildren and your greatgrandchildren! It is time for our Summer Fun Fair on Tuesday, August 2nd.

Games, hotdogs, cotton candy, lemonade, and popcorn will be provided from 10am—12pm. Doylene will be providing the musical entertainment at 2pm.

All families are encouraged to join their loved ones and bring the children. Everything that day is free, but any donations will go to the Activity Department for our residents’ activity fund.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and its interaction with physical movement.

The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual.


Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language pathology is the study of disorders that affect a person’s speech, language, cognition, voice disorders, swallowing disorders
and the rehabilitative or corrective treatment of physical and/or cognitive deficits/disorders resulting in difficulty with communication and/or swallowing.


Pain Management
The Carriage House Health & Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive pain management
team approach which evaluates, treats and determines individualized interventions to provide pain relief,  manage chronic pain, improve strength and endurance to assist in returning residents to their maximum level of functioning.
