The Carriage House Campus is a community devoted to Senior Living, encompassing Independent and Assisted living, Short-term rehabilitation and Long-term care. The Carriage House is a 165-bed Medicare/Medicaid-certified health and rehabilitation center.

Occupational Therapy
We provide supervision or assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitoring of resident activities to help to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
Rehabilitation
The Carriage House's Rehabilitation Program is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and it’s interaction with physical movement. 
Community
The Carriage House also provides complete skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to meet the post-hospital needs and long-term care needs of our patients and residents.

Resident of the Month
Eileen Gambrel
Eileen was born on January 31, 1926 in Omer, MI to Frederick and Jenny Redwitz. She has ten siblings. She graduated from Central High School and was a truck driver for three years.

She married the late John Gambrel on June 6th in Bay City, MI.  They have four children and now are blessed with seven grandchildren.

Christmas Store

This year’s Christmas Store was a huge success. We would like to thank everyone who had a hand in making our Christmas Store a great success. Thanks to all your hard work, everyone had a wonderful time shopping for themselves as well as for family members and friends.  

Word has it from our residents that they can’t wait until next year to experience the joy of being able to shop for their loved ones for the holiday season. They have offered up suggestions for next year. All in all a good time was had by everyone!


Great Wall Outing

The residents of The Carriage House have the opportunity to have lunch at  The  Great  Wall on
Wednesday, January 17th.

We will begin boarding the bus at 10:45 am, and expect to return at approximately 1:00 pm.  Residents that are interested in going out for lunch may sign up at Kristi’s door beginning January 1st to ensure their spot on the Metro bus.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and its interaction with physical movement.

The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual.


Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language pathology is the study of disorders that affect a person’s speech, language, cognition, voice disorders, swallowing disorders
and the rehabilitative or corrective treatment of physical and/or cognitive deficits/disorders resulting in difficulty with communication and/or swallowing.


Pain Management
The Carriage House Health & Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive pain management
team approach which evaluates, treats and determines individualized interventions to provide pain relief,  manage chronic pain, improve strength and endurance to assist in returning residents to their maximum level of functioning.
