The Carriage House Campus is a community devoted to Senior Living, encompassing Independent and Assisted living, Short-term rehabilitation and Long-term care. The Carriage House is a 165-bed Medicare/Medicaid-certified health and rehabilitation center.

Occupational Therapy
We provide supervision or assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitoring of resident activities to help to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
Rehabilitation
The Carriage House's Rehabilitation Program is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and it’s interaction with physical movement. 
Community
The Carriage House also provides complete skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to meet the post-hospital needs and long-term care needs of our patients and residents.

Virginia Patrick
Virginia was born the only child to Alice and Ernest Long on May 9, 1921, in Bay City, MI. She is a graduate of Handy High School.

Under Construction

Construction in the West Wings has begun. Please excuse the traffic and noise as this process takes place.

We are excited about the new family room that will give our residents and visitors another place for great conversation and many enjoyable moments.


Resident Council

The Resident Council meets every month at the Carriage House.  It is a platform for residents to voice concerns, give praises or provide suggestions on how to make The Carriage House feel more and more like home.  

Everyone is invited to attend.  This month’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 27th in the Garden Room.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and its interaction with physical movement.

The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual.


Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language pathology is the study of disorders that affect a person’s speech, language, cognition, voice disorders, swallowing disorders
and the rehabilitative or corrective treatment of physical and/or cognitive deficits/disorders resulting in difficulty with communication and/or swallowing.


Pain Management
The Carriage House Health & Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive pain management
team approach which evaluates, treats and determines individualized interventions to provide pain relief,  manage chronic pain, improve strength and endurance to assist in returning residents to their maximum level of functioning.
