The Carriage House Campus is a community devoted to Senior Living, encompassing Independent and Assisted living, Short-term rehabilitation and Long-term care. The Carriage House is a 165-bed Medicare/Medicaid-certified health and rehabilitation center.

Occupational Therapy
We provide supervision or assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and monitoring of resident activities to help to ensure their health, safety, and well-being.
Rehabilitation
The Carriage House's Rehabilitation Program is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and it’s interaction with physical movement. 
Community
The Carriage House also provides complete skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to meet the post-hospital needs and long-term care needs of our patients and residents.

Resident of the Month
Annette Frost
Annette was born the oldest of three children to Frank and Francis Manninien on August 6, 1936 in Bay City, Michigan. Annette graduated from Handy High School and went on to take courses at a local college in book keeping and accounting. She worked for Ethan Allan and Markley Elliott as a book keeper and in payroll.

Improvements to the Facility

The past year has brought about many changes and updates at The Carriage House. We hope you have noticed and approve of these improvements.

We began on the West Wing of the building where we have built a new nurses station, two contemporary day rooms, two private resident rooms, and additional supply rooms.

More recently in the West Wing, the shower room has been renovated to include a larger showering area, more lighting, and new tile throughout.



Picnic at Bay City’s State Park

When was the last time you went to the State Park in Bay City? It’s time for you to return there on Wednesday, August 24. At 11:00 a.m., we will begin boarding the bus for the Bay City State Park. Our return is expected around 1:00 p.m.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy is involved in the treatment of disorders of the musculoskeletal system and its interaction with physical movement.

The ultimate goal of physical therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual.


Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-language pathology is the study of disorders that affect a person’s speech, language, cognition, voice disorders, swallowing disorders
and the rehabilitative or corrective treatment of physical and/or cognitive deficits/disorders resulting in difficulty with communication and/or swallowing.


Pain Management
The Carriage House Health & Rehabilitation Center provides a comprehensive pain management
team approach which evaluates, treats and determines individualized interventions to provide pain relief,  manage chronic pain, improve strength and endurance to assist in returning residents to their maximum level of functioning.
